Race Description
Join us for a scenic run along the ocean in beautiful Friendship, Maine. The course is well marked, with a water station just after the second mile marker. The race also uses chip timing, so results are fast and accurate!
After the 5K, we will have a small awards ceremony where the top three male and female finishers will receive unique hand-carved finishing buoys. In addition to the buoys, the top male and female overall winners will also receive 10lbs of lobster!
Trophies will be awarded to age group winners in the 5K and the top three overall in the 1 Mile Fun Run. Everyone who runs the 1 Mile race will also receive a medal.
The race is part of our annual Friendship Day celebration, which includes a pancake breakfast after the race, as well as other activities, such as a parade, a craft fair, and our famous Friendship Day auction!
The first 50 people to register will receive a free T-shirt, so don’t forget to pre-register!
